How can I book a viewing?
To book a viewing, contact us here. Alternatively call us on 020 7402 7000 (Mon-Fri, 10AM-5PM, Sat 10AM-3PM). We offer virtual viewings and in-person viewings, and you are always welcome back for further viewings.
I want to rent an apartment, what’s the process?
The process:
- Choose the property you want
- Choose your method of viewing (virtual or in-person)
- Send us the relevant documents
- Conduct our referencing checks (within 24 hours or less of documents received)
- We prepare the contract
- Sign contract
- You get keys – VOILA!
At Studiolet, we like to make things simple, so renting an apartment from us couldn’t be easier.
What documents will I need to rent an apartment?
We require a recent bank statement, copy of passport and a reference letter (job letter etc). In some cases we may also ask for a previous Landlord reference. If you do not hold a UK passport, we will additionally require a copy of your visa. All your data/ documents is kept secure with us.
How much deposit do I need to pay?
We always require 5 weeks worth of rent as a deposit. Your deposit is held and protected in a Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), which we cover the cost for protecting. Your deposit is fully refundable at the end of your tenancy, subject to it’s possible relevant deductions in your contract.
How do the rent payments work?
Sometimes we may ask for a specific amount of rent upfront when signing a contract with us for a property. Rent is due on a monthly basis, in advance.
What if I want to stay for a short-term stay?
Our prices are based on long-term stays (six months plus), however we may be able to accommodate shorter term stays – get in touch!
Are there any other costs than rent and deposit?
Simply, no! We don’t charge any extra fees or hidden charges when you rent an apartment from us (excluding lock-out charges).
Do you accept pets?
We don’t accept pets in any of our properties, however sometimes it is possible that we may reconsider on an individual basis, so get in touch and ask us the question.
